Aa chukay ab to shab-o-roz azaaboon walay
Ab to sab dashna-o-khanjar ki zuban boltay hain
Ab kahan log muhabbat ke nisaboon walay
Zinda rehnay ki tamanah ho to ho hi jatay hain
Fakhtoon ke bhi kirdar uqaboon walay
Na mere zakham khilay hain na tera rang-e-hina
Mousam aye hi nahien ab ke gulaboon walay
